Dorothy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Dorothy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Dorothy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Hicks and Ellen Hicks; and her brother Michael Ray Hicks (David Hardesty). She is survived by: her children, Maurice Hundhausen (Jill Garcia) of Oakland, Tennessee, Angela Hundhausen of Fulshear, Texas and Ashley (Shawn Lannen); and her sister Clara Ellen Williams of Hernando, MS. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to Cottonwood Baptist Church.
