He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Heckman, Jr. and Ann Hunt Heckman. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Bowling Heckman; his children, Jake and Sarah Heckman; and his siblings, Melody Linenburg, Rodney and Kent Heckman.
A reception will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
In honor of Eric and his battle with early onset Alzheimer's the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Alzheimer's Association, an organization close to their hearts.
