It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Reynold Selvey in Collierville, Tennessee, born in Cumberland, Kentucky, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Reynold Selvey and Zella Sturgill Selvey; and his brother Bill Selvey. He is survived by: his wife Anna Ruth "Trudy" Selvey; his children, Mike (Janis Selvey) and Pat (Barry Pate); his grandchildren, Kendel (Kirk Berend) and Austin (Tyler Pate); his great grandchildren, Reese Berend and Andi Pate; and his sisters, Shelby Short, Sue McAdams and Margaret Morgan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Collierville Funeral Home (3863 Bailey Station Rd, Collierville, TN 38017). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
