She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Gray Simpson and Ollie Modene Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Garland Johns; her brother Calvin Simpson (Linda); her children, Tammy Walker (Brent), Greg Johns (Jana) and Wade Johns (Lori); and her grandchildren, Gray Johns (Hannah), Matt Walker (Mallory), Mekenzie Kessler (Brad), Brad Walker (Brooke), Sydney Brown (Josh), Cade Johns (Savannah) and Jamie Johns.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Collierville First Baptist Church (830 New Byhalia Rd, Collierville, TN 38017). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM and at 3:30 PM.
