She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Appler and Marguerite Appler; her husband Rev. Philip R. Hugel, IV; and her brother Colonel Donald E. (Ret). She is survived by: her daughter Beth Majkrzak (Richard) of Collierville, Tennessee; her grandsons, Carter and Erek Majkrzak of Collierville; her sister-in-law Carolyn Appler of North Carolina; and her nieces, Adrienne Appler (Jeremy) of Wisconsin, Valerie Appler of North Carolina and King Louis.
