She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Fisher and Dulcenia Fisher; her husband Marvin Murray Scott; and her sisters, Janie Lou Putman, Dorothy Ann Logan and Sylvia Jean Moore.
She is survived by: her son Murray Scott Jr. (Susie) of Collierville, TN; and her brother Johnnie Fisher, Jr. of Leesburg, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the University of Memphis Foundation, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38148-0001 and designated for the Thelma Fisher Scott Endowed Scholarship.
