He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Louis and Gertrude Brown Daniel; his brothers, Raymond Earl Daniel, James Ray Daniel (Shorty) and Richard Neal Daniel; and his grandson Colby Michael Bratcher.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Dial Daniel of Collinwood, TN; his children, Gregory Dale Daniel (Peggy) of Iron City, TN and Mylinda Carol Bratcher (Michael) of Cypress Inn, TN; his grandsons, Blaze Daniel (Courtney Rhodes), Ryley Daniel (Makayla Nance) and Hayden Bratcher; and his sister Linda Gail Ray of Waynesboro, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“I remember one other thing I was visiting uncle James one day 😄 Roger rolled threw Driving a wildcat Buick!! Red black top 🎩 though that was prettiest car I'd ever seen 😍 he knew n loved all his old cars!! I got visit with Roger n carol , before Roger got sick !! I love him n miss him tony 💓”

“Roger Dale always been good me even as kid 😀 he always take us kids Indian Creek swimming 🥽 tell something about Roger Dale ,!! He could drive car 🚗 probably good as Timmy risner 😆 I remember one time he had old black El Camino, just me him coming back Indian Creek swimming, He made that El Camino fish tale on gravel road!! I remember looking over Roger driving one finger smiling like possum 😁 ofcourse I was kinda scared 😟 not really Roger hold his on brother!! Precious memories tony”
