He was predeceased by: his former wife Bettie Bernard; his wife Karen Bernard; his parents, Gregorio Bernardo and Albertina Bernardo; and his siblings, Louis, Edward, Joseph, Manuel, Alex, Jubilene, Isabell and Carrie.
He is survived by: his sister Mildred; his children, Steve Bernard (Nita) and Victoria Grobis; his stepchildren, Kevin Kiekhafer (Deb), Kurt Kiekhafter (Kelli) and Kathleen Woodman (Ron); his grandchildren, Katharyn (Blaire), Nicholas, Joseph (Emily), Zachary (Jane), Elizabeth (Dan), Kailey and Kloe; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Maxen.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (3019 Cayce Ln, Columbia, TN 38401).
