She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hill and Elaine Thomason Hill; her husband Gene Cheek; her daughter Deborah Cheek Mathis; and her granddaughter Rachel Quattelbaum.

She is survived by: her caregiver David Ray Cheek. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
