She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Elliott and Katie Bishop Elliott; her husband Charles "Ned" Dorman; her brother William Rankin Elliott; and her daughter Robin Leigh Dorman Keto.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Dorman (Barbara), Steve Dorman and Rita Pigg (Ronnie); and her sisters, Mary Kate Fogg (Cecil), Louise Culbreth (Paul Dean) and Virginia Brown (Joe). She is also survived by six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
She was chairwoman of one of the hospital's local charity events.
