He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentice Edward Fox and Mary Savannah "Archie" Kelley Fox; and his siblings, Austin Junior Fox, Aubrey Fox, Adrian Fox, Arlis Edwin Fox and Pam Fox Harris.

He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Lovell (Jason); his granddaughters, Bailey, Blaire and Lillian Lovell; and his siblings, Peggy Hutcherson (Hutch), Priscilla "Tina" Grooms, Penny Filson (Gerald Potts), Patsy Johnson (Gary) and Alton Fox (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
