It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hume Rash of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carac Hume and Mildred Scott Hume; and her husband Charles Rash. She is survived by: her sons, Marty Rash, David Rash (Lynda) and Steve Rash (Tammy); her grandchildren, Emily Rash (Cory Burnham), Chris Rash (Emily), Charlie Rash (Caroline), Lindsey Crum (Chris) and Andrea Rash; her great grandchildren, Charlotte Rash, John Rakes Rash, Ava Burnham, Kenna Rash, Josephine Rash and Lochlan Rash; and her sister Emma Lou Hume.
