He was predeceased by: his father Charles Edward Carpenter; and his brother Anthony Blake Carpenter. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Staggs Van Hyning; his children, Jesse Carpenter, Bradley Carpenter, Jr., Rebecca Mae Meigs, Elizabeth Carpenter and Charleigh Carpenter; and his sister Crystal Cates (Floyd). He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.
