He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gill Delk and Ruth Hoover Delk; his siblings, John A. Delk, Joe Delk and Mary E. Hill; his grandson Kameron Delk; and his great grandchild Haden Delk.
He is survived by: his wife Larissa Whitwell Delk of Columbia; his children, Cindy Butler (Jim) of Gallatin and Sloan Delk Jr. (Belinda) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Jeremy Delk (Janie) of Mt. Pleasant, Chelsea Woodward (Brett) of Lawrenceburg, Orrin Delk (Ryleigh) of Columbia, Colby Delk (Hannah) of Columbia and Kristen (Adam); and his sister-in-law Mable Delk of Columbia. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
