He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Dillehay (James Charles) and Annie Louise Dillehay (Reed); and his brothers, Jim Dillehay and Billy Dillehay. He is survived by: his wife Lee; his children, Amanda Jewell Gregory (Chris) of Hartsville, Tennessee, Ann Dillehay Sikes (Scott), Chuck Dillehay (Kim) of Marietta, Georgia and Susan Vanous (Mike) of Winfield, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Jay Gregory, Jonah Dillehay, Caleb Dillehay, Emmi Dillehay, Noah Vanous and Matthew Vanous; and his siblings, Joe Dillehay of North Carolina, Dale Dillehay (Pam) of Columbia, Tennessee, Barbara Garvin (Rushion) of Chapel Hill and Myrtle Dodson (Jay) of Thompson Station, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Highland Park Baptist, where he was a longtime member.
