He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Jackson; his parents, Floyd Jackson and Ruth Jackson; his sister Mildred Philpott; his daughter Betty Baker; his granddaughter Samantha Jackson Shreve; and his great great grandchild Dexter Rubert.
He is survived by: his son Mike Jackson (Debra); his grandchildren, Ken Eubank, Lori Rubert (Troy) and Katie Smartt (Robert); his great grandchildren, Caleb Rubert (Hope), MacKenzie Marks (Bayley), Wynnslee Smartt, Izzy Shreve and Gracie Shreve; his great great grandchildren, Salem Rubert and Maverick Marks; his nephew Jerry Philpot (Vickey); and his niece Angie Philpot.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Compassus Hospice in honor of Charles's memory.
