We announce the death of Cheryl Howell of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 79. Cheryl will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Vernon Durham and Opal Elizabeth Wolfenberger Durham; her sisters, Rena Lynn and Janice Weltz; and her great grandchild Eleanor Luna.
She is survived by: her husband William Howell; her children, Tyler Luna (Shelly) and Melissa White (Mark); her stepmother Kay Durham; her siblings, Polly Durham, Leah Durham and Kenny Durham (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Shana Luna, Madison Luna, Cody Dunavant (Holly), Jessica Khann, Stephanie Williams (Daniel) and Bethany Lowry (Josh). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
