He is survived by: his wife Elaine Kruser Groom; his children, Jody Groom of Columbia, TN, Robin Groom (Sonya) of Wisconsin, Gena Contaldi (Mario) of Texas, Martin Groom (Jennifer) of Columbia, TN, Dean Groom (Pam) of Wisconsin and Dion Groom of Wisconsin; his brother Charles Groom (Mary Louise) of Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Tabatha Groom, Shane Groom (Sarah), Katie Groom, Samantha Contaldi, Caleb Groom (Amanda), Joshua Groom, Seth Groom, Bridget Reynolds (Brandon), Courtney Caliger (Broc) and Brooke Groom. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
