Douglas Adkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Adkins of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Adkins and Madeline Adkins (Moore); and his son Robert Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Gweneth Sue Adkins (Gwen); his children, Greg Adkins and Renee Tate; his grandchildren, Zach Tate, Cheyenne Tate and Abbey Adkins; and also, Julian and Meadow Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
