He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Thomas (Mickey) and Margaret Lewis (Edgar); his nephew Travis Blair; and his sister-in-law Linda Sue Hazel. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Bonnita "Bonnie" Thomas of Spring Hill; his daughter Nicole Edwards (Vincent) of Spring Hill; his grandchildren, Mason Thomas Edwards and Hazel Channing Edwards; his siblings-in-law, Jean and Jim Blair of Silver Spring; his niece Kaitlyn Blair of Omaha, Nebraska; and his great-nephew Gunnar Young.
