It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Etheridge of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Etheridge, Sr. and Ruby Catherine Brim Etheridge; his grandchild Ty Etheridge; and his sisters, Marie Morris, Dorothy Swann and Margie Hodge.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Smothermon Etheridge of Columbia; his sons, Michael Etheridge (Tonya) of Summertown and Brian Etheridge of Franklin; his stepchildren, Jeffrey Smothermon (Belinda) of Columbia, Marcia Morse of Lynnville and John Smothermon of Columbia; his granddaughters, Paige Shuemaker (Luke) and Nicole Etheridge; and his great grandchildren, Letti Shuemaker and Rhen Shuemaker.
