She was predeceased by: her parents, Estis Sims and Vealer Sims; her grandparents, Elvin and Hettie Crawford; her sister Hettie; and her brother-in-law John Eads.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Hammons; her son Nathan Hammons (Bethany); her grandsons, Tucker and Bo Hammons; and her siblings, Betty Melton (George), Jean Garmon (Joe), Kathy Reecer (Truman) and Joe Sims (Judy).
