The memory of Gloria Ann Burns of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on November 13, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee Quirk and Elma Lee Fly Quirk; her husband Milton Leroy Burns; and her brothers, Harold "Bunny" Quirk and Jesse Ray Quirk.
She is survived by: her sons, Phil Burns (Lauri Kaye) and Eric Burns; her granddaughter Hannah Burns; her cousins, Will Bolton and Zach Bolton; and her friend Martha Lee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggest memorials be made to Neapolis United Methodist Church, Frances Smith, 3149 Denning Lane, Spring Hill, TN 37174, or to the Neapolis Cemetery Association, 3060 Valley Creek Rd. Culleoka 38451.
