It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen Palmer Chumley of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Minnie Bell Palmer Webb; her children, Ray Cotton, Jimmy Cotton and Cathy Blade; and her siblings, Adele Ferrell and Jimmy Webb.
She is survived by: her sons, JW Cotton (Sharon) and Lee Chumley; and her siblings, Wayne Webb (Cheryl), Dennis Webb (Pam), Eddie Webb, Judy Nichols and Debbie Bodily. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
