He is survived by: his wife Nancy Marie Scott Ferrell; his children, Cheri, Chris (Christie), Mike (Kara) and Michelle (Jared Cowan); and his grandchildren, Kate, Ashley, Maddie, Michael, Leigh, Abigail and Faye.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
