He is survived by: his spouse Noma Jean Walters Dodson; his children, James Allen Dodson, Anthony Troy Dodson, Mark Hensley Dodson, Gina Marie Beard and Tina Renee Butler (Bryan Stephen); his sisters, Jean Ann Layne and Judy Orr (Ross); his sister-in-law Shirley Hanback; and his grandchildren, Destiny Danielle Jones (Brandon), Heather McMillan, Brandon Troy Dodson (Julie), Mathew Bracken Dodson (Destin), Darian James Harvey (Katie Boshers), Haiden Clara Jean Harvey (Ben Andrews), Devin Blake Webb (Savannah Edwards), Madison Faith Butler (Austin Vickers) and Molly Grace Butler. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
