Though James Vernon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Vernon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Birdie Sharp, and James Sharp, Sr.; his sister Carolyn Howard; and his grandson James Lee Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Steven, Dusty and Stephanie; and his daughter-in-law Natoschia.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Thousand Hills Cowboy Church (1025 Brewer Rd, Ethridge, TN 38456).
