She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Lester Johnson and Ethel Louise Curry Johnson; her husband James Allison "Jim" Cook Jr.; her children, Steven Cook and Leslie Suzanne Patterson; her siblings, Larry Johnson and Lorna Johnson; and her close friend Kay Tillman.
She is survived by: her children, Allison Speed of Columbia, Shelley Fautt of Columbia, Dickie Cook (Becky) of Spring Hill, Michael "Mike" Cook (Lori) of Columbia, Jill Gordon of Columbia, David Cook (Heather) of Columbia, Kristen Cook of Columbia and Karen Clark (Steve); her grandchildren, Adam Cook (Ali), Lauren Walker (Zach), Shelby Powell (Caleb), Jackson Cook, Taylor Gordon (Forrest Eagle), Cameron Gordon, Anna Cook, Jamie Cook, Sam Cook, Connor Cook, Kayla Gordon, Lexi Patterson, Lucas Patterson, Ryan Clark (Brilee Norman) and Brady Clark; her siblings, Richard Johnson, Bonnie Moyer and Beverly Wieber; and her close friends, Sheila Alexander, Sandy Houston, Linda Moore and Jan Harmon. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
