With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jo Frances Markham (Columbia, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otey Porter and Martha Rice Porter; her husband Arthur Milton Markham, III; her in-laws, A. M. Markham Jr. and Betty Markham; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Porter, Jackie Markham and David Baumstark.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Jane Markham Clark (Tommy) of Jonesborough and Jo Anna Markham Neece (Greg) of Williamsport; her grandchildren, Brittany Astorga (Kike) of Mexico, Wesley Clark (JaiQuing) of China, Julia Leonard (Jeremiah) of Germany and Jody Neece of Williamsport; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Clark, Elliot, Bruce, Baxton, Esther and Jaxon; her brother O'Henry Porter (Lynn) of Chattanooga; and her siblings-in-law, John Markham of Columbia and Linda Baumstark of Missouri. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
