It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kirk Brown Aydelotte of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Edward Kirk and Cora Schrader Kirk; her husbands, Watt Y. Brown and Eugene Finley Aydelotte; and her siblings, Raymond Kirk, Mahlon Kirk, Dot Salrin, Margaret Maddux and Norma Whiteside.
She is survived by: her children, Pete Brown (Joy) and Becky Davis (Larry); her grandchildren, Hardin Brown, Anna Boyd Brown, Natalie Belcher (Billy) and Lindsey Jones; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Jones, Nate Jones and Lilly Grace Jones. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
