It is with sadness that the passing of Joanne King of Columbia, Tennessee is shared. Joanne, born on April 13, 1953, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse W. Martin and Grace C. Martin; her husband Joe W. King, Jr.; her brothers, Donald, David, Dennis, Delbert, Gilman, Danny, Delmer and Benton; and her granddaughter Josie Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Chad King (Jessica), Cindy Southall (Lance) and Jessica Maynard (Eddie); her sisters, Carolyn Judd, Janice Walls and Debbie Klingler (Jeff); and her caregiver Christine Brooks. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Chapel Church of the Nazarene (3864 Johnson Hollow Rd, Thompson's Station, TN 37179). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
