He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gerald Mize and Tammie Lurline Mize (McLean); his brothers, Gerald Dean Mize and Herbert Ray Mize; his son Harry William Mize; and his great grandchild Ethan Riley Bott.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Mize; and his children, Randy Mize (Angela) of Vine Grove, Kentucky, Amanda Ann Pacheco (Ernie) of Aztec, Sandy Shultz (Mike), Lisa Norton (Perry) of Chapel Hill, Tennessee and Debbie Meuli (Steve) of Charlston. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
