He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Guild Colmore; and his brother Rupert McPherson Colmore III. He is survived by: his father Rupert McPherson Colmore; his wife Linda Lea Colmore; his daughters, Martha Colmore Hooker (William Hooker) and Margaret Colmore Flynn (Tatum Flynn); his stepdaughter Lea Allison Rovers (Tycho Rovers); and his grandchildren, Keaton Dial Allen, John Zeigler Flynn, Rupert Lawrence Flynn, Willa Bowdoin Hooker and Julia Frances Page Rovers.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the All Saints Chapel on the University.
