He was predeceased by: his parents, John Macon Tomlin and Jennie Ristoria Warren; his son Daryl Franklin Tomlin; and his brother Larry Wayne Tomlin. He is survived by: his wife Jeanetta Russell Tomlin; his children, Cheryl Latanya Howell (Phillip) and Jason Russell Tomlin, Sr.; his daughter-in-law Cindy Hardison Tomlin; his grandchildren, Andrew, Benjamin, Toby, Ryan of Jayde, J. R., Juliana Tomlin, Kayla (Josh Ketchum), Reese (Jessy) and Joshua Howell; his great grandchildren, Johnathan Basford, Dawson Potts and Kaystin Ketchum; his brother Jesse Harrell; and his friend Robert Johnson. He is also survived by numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
