She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph N. Sanders and India Durden Sanders. She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Massey; her daughter-in-law Susan Massey; her grandchildren, Steven Massey (Amanda) of Lenoir, NC and Melissa Good (David) of Fayetteville, TN; her great grandchildren, J. J. McGee of Jude Massey, D. C, Eli Dunn, Lyrik Massey, Gracie Good and Angel Pool; her sister Jackie Dale (Sherry Blocker); her husband Larry G. Massey; her children, Steve Massey and Beth Massey; and her siblings, Audrey Payne, Doris Jester, Jeri Hill, Billie Jean Harmon, Wilburn Sanders, Roy Sanders and Ralph N. Sanders, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to two causes dear to Joyce's heart: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Parks City Baptist Church in Fayetteville, TN.
