She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hardison and Hettie Hardison; her husband Cecil "Shine" Taylor Turner; her siblings, Mildred, Dottie, Jean, Paul and Sammy; and her granddaughter McKenzie Turner.
She is survived by: her children, James Turner (Katie), Jean Ann Turner and Jack Turner; and her grandchildren, Rachel Turner and Jacob Turner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
