He was predeceased by: his parents, James Taylor Martin and Ella Pate Hargrove Martin; his wife Lois Laverne Parker; his siblings, JT Martin (Revel), Annie Laura, Bertie McAllister and Marie Bledsoe (Henry); and his nieces, Tina Johnson and Judy (Gary Martin).
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Anne Sharp (David) of Columbia; his stepgrandsons, Reese Sharp and Brandon Sharp; and his nieces, Annette Yates, Statia Noles, Tabby DeHaven, Vickie Rhoder, Angie Jackson, Mitzy Griffin, Laquilla Hogan, Sue and Brenda.
