She was predeceased by: her parents, Alan Hay and Ethel Humphrey Hay; her siblings, Audrey Stanfill, Mary Montgomery, Lecy Hay, Helen Hill, Donald Hay, Larry Hay, Sherry King, Deborah Humphrey and Frank Hay; and the father of her children Dan Norman Griggs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Griggs Holcomb and Bridgett Griggs (Joe Shelby); her sister Wilma Hood; her grandchildren, Justin Clint Holcomb (Jade Liggett), Brandon Todd Holcomb (Sierra), Erin Dawn Walls (Dalton) and Amber Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Aubree Holcomb, Ruby Scott, Ella Holcomb and Carter Anderson. She is also survived by one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
