With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lula Mae Dooley of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, J. D. Nicholson and Elnora Lockridge Nicholson. She is survived by : her children, Sharnell Poulson (Michael) and Derrick Dooley; her grandchildren, Don Dooley, Jr. (Bridgett), Vivian McKnight, Wanda Grandberry, Dexter Dooley (Roslyn), Deborah Dooley, Demeturis Dooley (Shawn) and Yolanda Dooley; her brothers, James Nicholson (Jean) and Dennis Nicholson (Lisa); her sisters-in-law, Katherine Harlan, Elaine "Pee Wee" Dawson, Carolyn Pillow, Gail Wilkes and Lillian Brown; her aunt Geneva Patrick; her goddaughter Rosetta Pillow; her cousin Thessly Nicholson; and her friends, Mickie Cannon, Velvet Harlan, Faye Hampton and Mary Ann Lockett. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
