She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Merki and Emma Merki; and her husband John Gross. She is survived by: her children, David (Suzanne), Alan (Carol), Susan (Cris) and Philip (Donna). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
