She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Blackburn and Ora Alleen Hood Blackburn; and her siblings, Ruby Parham, Allen Blackburn and Dr. C. Edward Blackburn.
She is survived by: her husband Norman P. Harris of Columbia; her sons, Chris Harris (Sheila) of Knoxville and Craig Harris (Carolann) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Jonathan Harris of Birmingham, AL and Rebecca Harris of Doerun, Georgia; her stepgrandson Vincent Ferrara of New Orleans, Louisiana; her great grandchild Rhett Jonathan Harris; her brother Howard Blackburn of Charleston; and her brother-in-law Marion Parham of Panama City, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
