He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Johnson Turner and L. B. Morton (Shorty); and his grandparents, James and Viola Johnson. He is survived by: his siblings, Steve Morton (Lisa), Janice Bennett (Charlie) and Mildred Lovett; and his nieces and nephews, Lee Ann Cothron, Bethany Morton, Keith Brady, Ken Lovett and Stephen Morton. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews and cousins.
His favorite charity was St. Jude's Children's Hospital and he asked that donations be made to them in lieu of flowers.
