She was predeceased by: her child Columbia; her parents, Fred Hood and Hildred Willis Hood; her siblings, Anna Mae Hood, Emma Jean Lanius, John Hood, Donald Hood, Buford Hood, Paul Hood and Gary Hood; and her daughter-in-law Elaina Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Stephens of Franklin, Melissa Stephens of Houston, Robert Stephens (Doris) of New Johnsonville and Jace Stephens (Carrie) of Nashville, Tennessee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Santa Fe Cemetery (2369 Santa Fe Pike, Santa Fe, TN 38482).
