He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Armstrong Sr. and Geraldine Johnson Armstrong; and his siblings, Willis Armstrong Jr., Joe Don Armstrong, Edward Armstrong, Willie Louise Armstrong and Theatrice Armstrong Waire.
He is survived by: his daughter Rochelle Symlar (Terrance); and his granddaughters, Aaliyah Symlar and Anasia Symlar. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
