We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2024, at the age of 98, Rebecca Burgett of Columbia, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Westmoreland and Georgia Shrader Westmoreland; her husband Doug Burgett; her daughter Elizabeth Vaughn; her siblings, Howard Westmoreland, George Westmoreland, James Westmoreland, Desdie Westmoreland, Mary Edith Westmoreland Gillum and Billie Westmoreland Young; and her granddaughter Anna Burgett Logan.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Burgett, Jr. (Shelia) of Moss Point, Mississippi, Dona Carnahan (Howard Gower) of Lawrenceburg and Diane Allen (Evan) of Columbia; and her son-in-law Trey Vaughn of Brentwood. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and two great –great-grandchildren.
