Though Rickey Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Rickey Eugene Davis and Mary Jones Davis; and his sister Irene Davis. He is survived by : his wife Vernal Jones Davis; his children, Rickey Davis (Katrina Christmom) of Columbia, Darwayne Mosley of Texas, Archie Jones of Oakland, California and Veronica Jones of Oakland, California; and his brothers, Juan Davis (Karen) of Mt. Pleasant and Timothy Davis (Allison) of Knoxville. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

The lying in state was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
