He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert Johnson and Virginia Lou Bowen Johnson; and his sister Ginger Clarke. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Turner Johnson of Columbia, TN; his children, Rob Johnson (Jenny) of Columbia, TN, Michael Johnson (Diana) of Portland, OR and Holly Thomas (Matthew) of Chattanooga, TN; his grandchildren, Zachary Johnson (Lauren), Robert Zane Johnson (Eden), Zoe Carter (Dawson) and Corinne Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Bradley Johnson and Grayson Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home (320 W 7th St, Columbia, TN 38401). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
