He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Bale and Deloris Bale (Lenz); and his son Robert Bale. He is survived by: his wife Nadine Bale of Columbia; his children, Sheri Bale of New York, Brianna Bale of New York, Melissa Kaltenbach of New York and Lewis Platner of Columbia; and his sister Sharon Thomas (Bob). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
