We are sad to announce that, on January 31, 2026, at the age of 75, Steven James Heier of Columbia, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Heier and Helen Chrisman Heier; his son Matthew "Chew" Heier; his aunt Mary "Mevy" Evelyn Hopkins; and his brother-in-law Robert "Bo" Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hopkins Heier; his children, Kristen Mach Rempfer (Eric), Beth Heier (Chris Liddicoat) and Jonathan Heier (Amanda); his grandchildren, Olivia Mach, Lucy Mach, Rosie Rempfer, Cole Tribble and Kelsey Tribble; his nieces, Danielle Hopkins, Kristy Mattson and Bobbi Jo Mattson; and his pets, Paisley, Barnaby and Daisy.
