He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer L. Claiborne and Avie Irene Gardner Claiborne; and his siblings, Robert Claiborne, Leon Claiborne, James Claiborne, Shirley Ann Hickman and Margaret Phillip.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ring Claiborne; his grandchild Thomas; his children, Becky West (David), Thomas Glen Claiborne, Jr., Katie Mathis (Ron), Diane Jones (Jeremiah) and Tommy Claiborne (Courtney); his sister Virginia Jackson; his sister-in-law Linda Claiborne; and his grandchildren, April, Amber, Matthew, Lindsey, Courtney of Dakota, TJ, Haley, McKenzie, Spencer, Precious and Alex. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
